Help Save Zion – Our Sweet Pitbull with Lung Cancer
On June 11, 2024, our hearts broke when our beloved 12-year-old pitbull, Zion, was diagnosed with lung cancer. The news came suddenly and has devastated our little family—especially her mother, who raised her from a puppy.
Zion has been with us through everything. She’s brought us joy, comfort, laughter, and unconditional love. Anyone who’s met her knows she’s gentle, loyal, and full of heart.
We’ve received three veterinary opinions confirming her diagnosis, and we’ve been referred to an oncologist for specialized care. The good news: there is treatment available. The hard part: each dose of medication costs $200, and due to recent financial hardship, we’re unable to afford what she needs.
We’re doing everything we can to give Zion the best quality of life possible—and the goodbye she deserves, when that time comes. Whether her journey leads to more time with us or a peaceful farewell, she deserves nothing but love and comfort.
