So sad to report that William Lester, known as Billy to his schoolmates, will shortly be going from a prolonged hospital stay to his home in hospice care, with his devoted and tireless Machelle Hanyo by his side. Billy is a guy with who is all heart. When my sister Kathy was ill a few years back, he took the time and effort to drop off to the house a hospital bed-type tray that was simply invaluable to us.
And that’s what friends and Bonackers do. Finest kind. From an Amagansett fishing family, he’s truly one of our own. Let’s help ease Billy’s transition and worries about finances in this most difficult of times; your loving gift is set up to go directly to Machelle & him with so much humble gratitude.
