Help me fund my hysterectomy!
Ever since I first started menstruating as a pre-teen, my cycles have been filled with excruciating pain and debilitation. I was put on birth control at a young age to manage my periods, but I’ve still been in severe pain. As someone who does not wish to give birth, this pain seems unnecessary and harmful to my quality of life.
I’ve wanted to get a hysterectomy for many years, and only recently worked up the courage to finally start the process. With the combination of pain, gender dysphoria, and the threats on reproductive rights, it’s essential I get this care now.
My surgery is scheduled for late September. My surgeon will remove my uterus, cervix, endometriosis, and possibly my appendix if it’s impacted by the endometriosis. My fundraising goal covers the cost of upcoming appointments, surgery, as well as care in my recovery.
