On March 18th, 2025 my friend Chad went in for a check up and lab work with his doctor after noticing he had been becoming tired for no reason. Chad and his family were delivered with the bomb shell that he had APL (Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia), a rare and aggressive form of Leukemia that attacks his white blood cells. March 19th Chad was admitted to Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem North Carolina, where he would spend the next thirty four days in the hospital receiving blood work and two types of chemotherapy. Chad is now home, but he is still goes in Monday through Friday for more chemo treatments.
Before Chad and his family was hit was with tragic news, he had just began a new job, and was a week and a half away from his insurance to begin. Unable to work due to his hospital stay and continuing treatment plans, Chad was let let go from his job. He has since then raked up over significant amounts in medical debt, which he continues to add to that daily, and will continue until early December when his treatments end. Chad is a tremendous family man to his wife (Ashley), their three beautiful kids (Kole, Abby, and Andrew), along with their three dogs (Lola, Maverick, and Sadie). Any support is appreciated by Chad, his family, and friends. We would also like to thank you for taking the time to read Chads story, and also understand if you can not help financially. If you could share his story, and send prayers those are appreciated just much.
