On Sunday June 1st Trevor Tong went through an unimaginable and terrifying experience where a lighter caused his chef coat to catch fire causing 2nd and 3rd degree burns covering Trevor’s entire back and lower leg. Since then Trevor has been receiving inpatient care. His road to recovery will require surgeries and a lengthy hospital stay.
That being said, Trevor has been in such good spirits given the circumstances and is healing with laughter and love from friends and family and lots of NBA 2K.
In the meantime, many of you have asked how you can help, so that’s the purpose for getting this started!
We hope to help ease the burden of this horrific experience by relieving financial stress on Trevor and his family while spending time at the hospital and away from work so that Trevor can focus on making a full and complete recovery. Trevor is an incredible friend, a talented cook, he is an extremely kind individual, he has brilliance humor and heart brighten everyone’s day. There is no one more deserving of this assistance than Trevor.
