Hi everyone,
My name is Savannah Silva and I’m currently in the hospital on bed rest until my baby boy Elias is born. Over a week ago, my water broke much earlier than expected—my amniotic sac ruptured—and now both Elias and I need to be monitored closely every day. At any moment, he could arrive, and we’re doing everything we can to keep him safe and strong until then.
This has been one of the hardest and most emotional times of my life. Before this unexpected turn, I was working two jobs and had just been hired at a third. I was also attending school, pushing myself every day to build a stable, secure future for Elias. I had big plans, and I was doing everything I could to be ready for him. Now, with everything suddenly on pause, I’m reaching out for help.
I’m starting this fundraiser to help provide some financial security for Elias once we leave the hospital. I may be down right now, but I’m not giving up. Every donation—no matter how small—will go toward preparing a safe space for him, covering essentials, and helping us get back on our feet when this hospital journey is over.
