Hello Family & Friends,
As you may have heard my nephew Owen was in an ATV accident on June 12th and sustained a traumatic brain injury. He is currently being treated at Sacred Heart Riversedge Medical Center in Springfield. He had to be life flighted there from Sunnyside camp ground up past Foster Lake.
Owen was celebrating graduating from high school and turning 18 on June 10th. As you can imagine my brother and sister-in law are completely devastated and consumed with stress. They are doing everything they can to stay focused on Owens recovery, but this mean they have had to step away from work and they do not know for how long and with that comes a whole new set of worries.
Right now they are facing immediate stress of lost wages from needing to be at the hospital full-time, daily travel, meals parking and household bills pilling up at home on top of everything else.
I am setting up this fundraiser on their behalf to help ease that burden so they can focus on Owens recovery without constantly worrying about regular life.
