My name is Sean McCaffrey, and I’m writing this in hopes of helping my mom. We will be having a beef and beer at a location to be determined soon.
A short story about my family. In July 2023, we lost my dad to his tough battle with stomach cancer. We watched him go through chemo and witnessed his long, hard fight. We promised our dad to take care of our mom when he got called back home to the Lord. After a year and eleven months of healing and continuous grieving for our dad, we got the worst news of our lives.
My mom recently went to the hospital for what we were hoping was a minor visit. Within 24 hours of her being there, our lives changed. My mom was diagnosed with a 7mm mass on her brain. Shortly after finding the mass, we were told there is reason to believe it was a cancerous mass and there would be a need for more testing. She went for another test and found that there are cancerous masses throughout her body, including her lungs, liver, stomach, kidneys, and the majority of her vital organs. We have seen many doctors and have watched her go for many tests. We have stood strong while she is fighting the biggest fight of her life. While fighting her fight, we want to do our hardest to help alleviate some of her medical bills that she’s going to face.
Our mom is the most loving, caring soul one could meet. She has been our biggest supporter and our number one fan for the four of her sons. She’s an amazing grandmother to her 10 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
We are still grieving the loss of our dad with his passing anniversary coming up, and now we are told we might lose our mom, sister, or Grandmom. We are requesting that you donate, join us, or simply share and help us raise the funds to help our mom. We love our mom more than anything. She truly is an amazing mom, friend, sister, and an amazing grandmother.
