Support My Fight Against Stage 4 Cancer

In November of 2024, I was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma lung cancer, stage 4. I started chemotherapy, which I had 3 rounds of, and it shrunk the cancer by 30%. But in the process of chemotherapy, it destroyed 30% of my red blood cells, so a 2-unit transfusion was needed to correct that. Then, it started the assault on my white blood cells. I received NEULASTA, a very expensive drug costing $10,000 per pod. I had to pay a $2,000 co-pay twice. Then we switched to immunotherapy, which sadly did not work, so the cancer grew. Now, I am receiving TAXOTERE, a very toxic cancer drug. I don’t know if it is working yet, as I have only had 2 rounds, but it is brutal, causing weight loss, pains, hair loss, skin cells dying off, and a swollen and bleeding colon.

I had a place to live, but one day in December of 2024, I was told I had to move for reasons I won’t get into here. Anyway, I had to find my own place, buy furniture (I had none), and was forced to find my own place, which I did. But the chemotherapy continues, my savings are gone, and I get SSI, which covers most of my rent but not all. So, I had to get a part-time job to have electric, food, gas, etc.

Anyway, any help would be appreciated as I am struggling to fight cancer every day and struggling to pay hospital bills and others. If you can help, please do. If not, thank you for your time in reading my story.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
