Hello! We are wanting to work as a team to help support Maria Carrillo during a difficult time. Maria is a hard worker at our facility and is a provider for her own family. She always greets everyone with a warm smile and kind heart coming in to do her job. Maria is also a mother and works hard for her family as the sole provider. Maria’s son is 44 years old and happens to be special needs and needs care around the clock. Maria works hard as his full time provider on top of working a job full time to make ends meet.
Recently, her son had been complaining of leg pain, and after countless doctor visits, they still couldn’t determine where the pain was coming from or what was causing it. It wasn’t until recently he ended up collapsing and having a seizure that led the doctors to investigate a little further, and they concluded that he has some type of terminal cancer but still to this day don’t know from what or where. The doctors are wanting to try chemo and radiation at this point. Her son had declined pretty fast, not being able to walk anymore, requiring tube feeds, and needing around-the-clock care. Maria has had to miss so much work to be there for her son during this time. With all these missed days of work, it has allowed the bills to pile up and her needing to find a way to help pay for his medical treatment and the necessities to get by.
With your help, we want to help alleviate some of the financial stress for Maria so she can be with her son during this time and help pay some of his medical bills. If you are able to help in any way possible, it will make a huge difference in her life. Again, thank you for taking the time, and please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers.
