My name is Lawrence Jackson. I’m a 26-year-old Army veteran and a father of two. I’m hoping to raise money for my mother, Lacharn Pace-Miller. Lacharn is a 60-year-old mother of 5 with 16 grandchildren.
My mother has suffered heart failure and has been placed with a Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) to help her heart pump and regulate blood to her body. Life with the LVAD has been an adjustment, and with the added stress of heart failure, even normal daily activities are a struggle for her, like taking a bath or even moving out of bed to brush her teeth. She also suffers from severe internal bleeding, which means she has to spend months in the hospital from time to time. She is on the waiting list for a new heart but due to her age she isn’t very close to the top.
We believe with prayer and donations we can get enough money to see to it that she sticks around to live out the rest of her life and enjoy time with her family. We truly thank you for any and all donations received.
