Hey friends and family,
This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to share, but I want to be honest with my community who’s shown me nothing but love and support over the years.
I’ve recently been diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer, and because of that, I’ll be stepping away from performing for some time to focus on treatment and my recovery. This isn’t goodbye forever — it’s just a temporary pause. I’m determined to fight with everything I’ve got and come back stronger, healthier, and more grateful than ever to do what I love.
Until I begin chemo and radiation, I will continue working and performing, and will plan my last show before treatment begins — a night to celebrate, cry a little, laugh a lot, and feel your love. I hope to see as many of you there as possible — your presence would mean everything to me.
I recognize this new journey will come with its own set of challenges – emotional, physical and financial. If you’d like to support me in any way, it would be deeply appreciated. Every little bit helps as I navigate medical expenses and time away from work. I’m also open to doing remote or work-from-home gigs — I want to stay active and keep contributing however I can.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the encouragement, the prayers, and the kindness. Please keep me in your thoughts — while I have a battle ahead of me, I also have so much to fight for!
