Hello, my name is Kerri, and for most of you that know me, you know that I have been having a problem with my hernia for almost 12 years now. I have had 5 surgeries, and I just had a surgery on May 22nd. Medicaid pays for very little. I have to buy myself supportive bands; they do break, and they are not cheap. However, I can’t seem to get any help through the governor or the state. I have worked, and money has gone into my SSI account, and I have paid taxes and can’t get any help from the state. It is sad. I can’t work right now; I am on bed rest for at least 4 weeks until I go back to my doctor for a check-up. I’m really trying hard this time to do what I have to do, which is not much. I can’t work, lift, or bend. I am in a hospital bed at home because I cannot strain my stomach in any type of way. Please, if you can help in any way, this will go to my husband, the one that is paying for the stuff that I need. My husband is my caretaker right now. Please help Kerri raise money for what I need it for.
