On Friday, June 13th, I was involved in a high-speed motor vehicle accident. My T12 vertebrae in my back was completely shattered. I had to have major surgery Saturday to decompress and fuse my spine back together with a titanium cage and multiple screws. Thank God I had a great neurosurgeon who saved my spinal cord, and I should recover nicely. The recovery is going to be slow, long (possibly 6+ months), and difficult, so continued support is greatly appreciated.
Also, I broke some small bones in my dominant hand in the accident, but so far, no surgery should be needed, just time….
It’s a miracle I’m even alive and was able to “walk” away from my accident, so I am truly blessed and thankful for all those who helped me and continue to help me through this.
Much love and thanks,
Jess ♥️
