My wife, Jennifer Weathersbee, is facing a major surgery in July at MUSC in Charleston, South Carolina. Doctors will be removing a cyst from her neck, which has already caused her to lose part of her clavicle bone and function in her right arm. The surgery is so complex that three surgeons will be involved. Afterward, Jennifer will need months of physical therapy to regain use of her arm, and she’ll be unable to care for herself or return to work for at least 3 to 5 months, depending on her recovery.
We live in Lexington, South Carolina, but all of Jennifer’s treatment and recovery will take place in Charleston. This means we’ll have to cover the cost of travel, hotel stays, and daily expenses far from home. On top of that, I’ll need to take time off work to care for Jennifer, which means we’ll be without my regular income for a while. We’re asking for help to cover medical bills, groceries, hotel costs, and other essentials while Jennifer recovers. Your support and prayers mean the world to us as we face this difficult journey together.
