Trigeminal Neuralgia (TN) also known as tic doulourex, is sometimes described as the “most excruciating pain known to humanity.”
Imagine feeling intense, stabbing, electric shock-like jolts in all your facial nerves. According to Google, TN is “perhaps the most excruciating pain known to humanity. Jackie has been feeling this agonzing pain 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, on the left side of her face. None of the medications that have been prescribed to her have helped relieve the pain. Because Jackie has become unresponsive to medications, her doctors have suggested surgery, in an effort to alleviate her debilitating pain.
