Support for Retta Paulsen’s Recovery

My wife, Retta Paulsen, has been in and out of the hospital for over a year, and since July 2024, she has been mostly bedridden and unable to work. She lives with severe pain every day, and her health challenges have made it impossible for her to manage daily life or contribute to our household. I stay with her day and night at the hospital, doing my best to support her through this difficult time.

The financial strain has been overwhelming. We are facing mounting medical bills and daily living expenses, and I have had to miss work one or two days each week to care for Retta and handle everything at home. On top of that, I travel nearly 200 miles a day between Florence and Myrtle Beach to be with her and keep up with my job. We also care for a large group of animals—twelve cats, four dogs, deer, ducks, four horses, a raccoon, and chickens—who depend on us for food and shelter. The cost of caring for them adds to our financial burden.

Retta is still in the hospital, and the bills keep coming. We are asking for help to cover medical costs, daily living expenses, travel, and the care of our animals. Any support will make a real difference for us during this incredibly hard time, and we are deeply grateful for any help you can give.
