Hello, my father has recently had a massive stroke and has been in the hospital for a week now. He was in the ICU and has now been sent to another room. When he got to the hospital, they did a scan on his brain and found a blood clot on the left side, and it’s blocking an artery. The doctors said some of the brain cells in that area are now dead. He has lost his speech and has trouble understanding. He cannot say any of our names or his own name. He has 5 grand children and one on the way, his grand kids are everything to him, and right now he can’t even say their names, this has been very hard on the family to see my father like this. They are sending him to a rehabilitation center after leaving the hospital.
Insurance is only covering so much, and my mother has been out of work for a week while staying with him in the hospital. My mother is the only one with income coming into the household. My father has a long road ahead of him, and we pray that he has a recovery. If anyone can help donate towards his medical bills and also household bills for my mother, it would be so appreciated. If you cannot, I understand. I just ask that you please pray for my father to get better and recover and pray for my mother and our family.
