Support Essential Treatment for Kelekena’s Young Friend

My name is Kelekena. I am hoping to raise money for a young person to help kick start funds for the treatment of their recent diagnosis of Myasthenia Gravis (MG). An autoimmune disorder that leads to body muscle weakness due to antibodies fighting against functionally important proteins in the postsynaptic membrane at the neuromuscular junction. It affects the body’s muscles, causing fatigue in muscles, and in the body, making them weaker to the point of not being able to use them. It affects the nerves and basically the person and muscles become progressively weak; the ability to swallow is limited, and eyes are affected with Ptosis. Vocal abilities are compromised as well as fatigue, and general overall weakness of the body. Currently, no Thymoma Cancer is detected. If it goes untreated, there is a high likelihood of the Cancer. Treatment involves medication, therapy for affected body parts, and possibly some retraining of usage for affected body parts. The treatment cost is upwards of $75,000. We are asking for $20,000 to help get started with this most needed and required treatment so this young, talented person can continue to live a full life, even though they may have annual/periodic immunosuppressant evaluations and monitoring for continued better health once reached.
