Bryson Parker is a 21 year old student at Huntington College in Montgomery Alabama. He received a football scholarship there in 2023, where he has played there for 2 years. On April 26, 2025, Bryson was in the dorm room at Huntington College when he was awakened due to having a seizure. Once Bryson realized what was happening, he tried to sit up and unfortunately fell landing in a position that caused him to break his neck in C-4 and C-5. Bryson underwent a 5-hour surgery on Saturday and a 4-hour surgery on Sunday. Bryson is paralyzed and is in the Shepard Rehab Center in Georgia. Bryson is working very hard every day trying to regain as much strength in his extremities as possible. He is also trying to keep his spirit up and not get depressed. His mother (Kenya Alexander Gailes) has been by his side ever since this incident happened. This is an opportunity to help relieve any financial stress that happens, when you stop working to take care of a loved one with no advance notice. This fundraiser is to assist with financial hardship with therapy, transportation. equipments and to prepare her home for when he is discharged. At this time Kenya should only have to focus on loving and supporting her son. Each donation will be greatly appreciated as well as prayers. Thanks in advance.
