Help Support Baby Zy’aire and His Family
Hello everyone, we are reaching out on behalf of Tammy Jenkins, during an incredibly difficult time for our family. Many of you may know that Tammy recently gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, Zy’aire Green, on March 17, 2025. Shortly after birth, Zy’aire was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, a severe congenital heart defect.
At just 4 days old, Zy’aire bravely underwent his first open-heart surgery. Since then, he’s faced multiple procedures and continues to fight every day in the NICU. His journey is far from over — doctors are working to strengthen his heart for the high-risk surgeries still ahead. Unfortunately, the hospital currently caring for him isn’t equipped to perform the next steps, and the family is waiting to be transferred to another hospital further from home.
As you can imagine, balancing the demands of hospital life, other children at home, and day-to-day responsibilities has been emotionally and financially overwhelming for Tammy. She would never ask for help herself, but I know how much it would mean to her.
I’m asking anyone who is able to donate — no amount is too small — to help cover expenses like gas, phone bills, and personal necessities while Tammy stays by Zy’aire’s side. If you’re unable to give financially, your prayers and words of encouragement mean just as much.
Tammy has always been the one to show up for others in times of need. Now, it’s our turn to be there for her. Let’s lift her up in love and support as she faces the hardest battle a mother could endure.
