We moved to Belize two years ago to improve our lives both mentally and physically, and it’s been an absolute dream – until last week.
We came prepared to face bugs, extreme heat, new wildlife, unknown terrain, even hurricanes. However, we didn’t come prepared to face cancer.
Last week MJ went in for a small procedure that has turned into a bigger deal, and now we’re looking at chemotherapy, radiation and surgery. The timeline is still unknown, but we start the process Tuesday morning in Belize City. MJ is strong and is meeting the challenge head on, as usual.
When we moved here we sold everything and put it all into our new business. We know money is tight for everyone, and so much is uncertain. Please keep us in your thoughts and we appreciate anything, sincerely and with immense gratitude.
