Stand with Barbara: Health and Hope

Hello, my name is Becky Stone and Barbara Chancey has been my best friend since we met about four years ago. We have been through many ups and downs as is in life, but this past year has been an unbearable struggle because of declining health. It started with her inability to breathe upon any type of exertion which resulted in an emergency embolectomy to remove a mass of blood clots in her lungs. Doctors said she was within 2 hours of death. Even after she was released from the hospital she continued to have difficulty breathing almost exactly like she was before the embolectomy. Eventually they realized it was her heart and during a heart catheterization two stents were placed in her main artery because of almost complete blockage. As a result of this she hand to go on two blood thinners where falling becomes life threatening. She has fallen due to continued weakness and dizziness causing a broken elbow(5 months ago and has not healed). She was scheduled for another heart catheterization the week of June 8 when she hit her head on a kitchen cabinet. Not even considering it the cause, she developed a severe migraine which never went away. On Friday June 13 she was transported to Holmes Regional Hospital Trauma unit and is in ICU with two brain bleeds and constant migraine. Her Neurologist is monitoring her but does not want to do surgery at this time. As a result of all of these life threatening problems, her medical bills are mounting. If you could possibly help towards this cause I am sure she would be very grateful, appreciative and thankful, She has not been able to work for many months and just lives on her social security. But God always sees her through. She does not know I am setting this fund up and probably would not be happy with me doing so. Please keep her in your prayers and thank you for anything you can do.
