I never thought I’d have to create one of these, but here I am. My name is Haylie, and I grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. It’s nice to meet you all, and thank you for having it in you to read my story.
My family and I have been struggling heavily with money. We barely are able to afford food in the house; we’re just making it by with bills, but all of this has progressively gotten worse. My poor mom, she’s only getting older, her bones aren’t working as they used to. She has been messed over way too many times, from getting trigger finger and the doctor ruining her hand and then ghosting her, to a car accident that was not her fault, leaving her with a shattered finger on her other hand and it not healing properly. But we can’t afford to get it fixed. I just want to help her out. I want her to at least be able to use her hands. She’s an extremely hard-working woman, and I have never seen my mom cry as much as she’s cried and broken down in the last year. Anything helps. Help us fix her hands so we can start affording groceries, so she can get a normal job again, so she doesn’t have to go through this depression anymore. Please. Whatever you can give will be so appreciated.
