Please help me to be independent again

Hi, my name is Petra and I’m 43 years old.

I’ve been suffering from rheumatoid arthritis since 2022.

I’ve already undergone several therapies. Unfortunately, there hasn’t been much improvement so far. The many medical treatments have also exhausted my financial resources.

Due to the persistent and extremely painful inflammation, my feet and hands are so swollen that I can’t open a bottle by myself. My feet no longer fit into regular shoes.

I’ve been sleeping in the living room for two years because I’m unable to climb stairs.

But I’m not giving up. I urgently need to remodel my house so I can get to the bathroom and into bed without help. This would make my daily life much easier and also relieve the burden on my son, whom I constantly have to ask for help.

I ask you with all my heart to help me get back to a normal everyday life.
