Hi everyone,
This is Soundless, our sweet and gentle cat who’s only about 2–3 years old. We found her in the Philippines and flew her to the US to be part of our family. When we first brought her to the vet, they suspected that Soundless had a previous pelvic fracture that did not heal correctly when she was still a stray, thus causing her to develop a hernia that’s made it extremely painful and almost impossible for her to poop. We would give her laxatives as instructed by the vet, but it only did so much. Watching her struggle every day has been heartbreaking.
After a visit to the vet, we found out that Soundless needs surgery and continued medical care, which altogether will cost around $7,000 to $8,000. This includes the surgery, specialist visits, and follow-ups needed for a full recovery.
We’re doing everything we can to keep things afloat at home, but this unexpected emergency has put a major strain on our budget. We’re asking for any support you can give—whether it’s a donation, or even just a share to spread the word. Every dollar and every share helps us get one step closer to giving Soundless the care she desperately needs.
She’s a loving, gentle soul who brings us so much comfort. Please help us bring her some comfort back.
This surgery would greatly help our dear Soundless get relief and be free from pain.
Thank you so much for your kindness, support, and for taking the time to read our story.
