LIfe after scooter accident

Hi, I’m Michael,

To begin, in the end of 2018, I was in a scooter accident and had a long road to recovery. I had many visits to the chiropractor in the beginning that led to major surgery for a TLIF surgery which is the fusion of the L4 and L5 disc in the lower lumber section of my spine. At this time I was operating a mail room for a corporate office and doing Ubereats along with Doordash to support my family and I. Once the accident happened that all changed. I then went through the 5 years of bed rest with assistance to use the bathroom and shower. I was also told the surgery had aged me by 20 years and the things I once did I could no longer do. I was also put on a 40 lbs. weight-lifting restriction, to avoid bending the rods in my back. As soon as I felt confident enough to start doing things, I was off to the races. I started painting my roof, I became an Amazon delivery driver, I even started online college at Franklin University for an A.S. in Computer Science.

While attending online college bills and food expenses are a part of everyone’s daily life, I would like to create BetterGrassNow.com, a lawn mowing business that mows lawns and trims hedges to support my family and I. We also never got married or purchased a house yet and I think this business will help to do that. I do not have a way to gather the funds needed to work towards this goal. I’m -$5000 in debt with a credit score of 540, living in a mobile home. I am mowing 4 properties a month and growing but not through the website I have created. I would first like to purchase a home, marry the mother of my child and fix my credit. With your help this might be possible or a long, far away dream.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
