Kaylyn’s Medical Fund: A Family in Need

Hi everyone,

As you may know, Kaylyn has been trying to heal from some medical issues. But life has a way of throwing the unexpected and it is turning into a long and hard recovery.

Here’s how it started…A few weeks ago, she was rushed to the hospital with what turned out to be a ruptured appendix. What she thought would be a quick visit turned into a serious medical emergency that had her sick and in the hospital for 2 weeks and not been able to work or even hold her babies. She has her small cookie business and photography that she has not been able to work so all the things she loves has been affected, which is also affecting on her mentally.

Last Thursday she was released home after the new CT scan showed the abscess gone. She was sent home with antibiotics with the drain removed.

How it’s going….After 4 days she started running a fever and having pain again so she went back to the ER last night. They did a CT and found a new abscess. They did another surgery this morning to clean it out and place a new drain. It is extremely infected and she will be in the hospital until it clears out fully this time. We are waiting for the lab results from the culture to see if the antibiotic she is on is in fact helping or if they will have to change it, which can take 3-7 days for the results. And the time for it to clear out so she doesn’t have to go home then b re-admitted and go through it all for a 3rd time.

Kaylyn is self employed with her small business and does not currently have medical insurance so being out of work is a huge financial burden, along with the physical and mental aspect of everything and the toll it’s taking on her. She is not one to ask for help so this is really hard for her as well.

I am starting this fundraiser to try to help ease some of the financial aspect since I can’t help with the physical or healing part. Every penny raised will go directly toward paying medical-related expenses and covering her bills until she can safely return to work. If you’re able to give—no matter how much—it would mean the world to her. If you can’t give, sharing this page would still help more than you know. Prayers for her healing and well-being are also greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your kindness, support, understanding, and compassion during one of the hardest times she has endured, it is truly appreciated.

With love and gratitude,

Nicole Jordan

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
