Join Us in Easing Dave Bowen’s Burden

Our dear friend Dave Bowen is bravely battling stage-four cancer and undergoing chemotherapy and other treatment. We are raising money to help with his uncovered medical bills in light of his reduced earning power during his treatment period. We also hope to help defray any of his unforeseen expenses.

As so many of you know, for the past 16 years, Dave has always performed an integral role in effortlessly coordinating fund-raising activities for our other friends in need, including for Emily’s Mom, John Crais, Mike Rollins’ family and setting up Alex’s memorial ceremony. Over the years, his generosity and compassion towards others in need has been unwavering and he has set an example for all.

Please join us by contributing to his medical bill relief fund. Our goal is to raise $5,000 as well as to let Dave and Mary know that we hold them close to our hearts and in our prayers.

Here are some of the many ways to describe Dave:

• Very funny and quick with not only a one-liner but with repartee

• Knows everyone and most likely has more friends than you

• Is very inclusive of all folks; in fact his friend and family base constitutes a rainbow-colored tapestry

• Is faithful and God-fearing

• Is a great emcee at parties

• Is a high-performer at his job

• Loves Mary

• Loves NASCAR

• Cheers for the Panthers, Tar heel basketball and East Carolina sports teams

• Loves spicy food but his favorite food is beer

No contribution is too small, and both Mary and he will be eternally grateful to you.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
