Hi, my name is patty. I am facing some extreme health problems that I cannot financially handle. In 2014 I had to have my right kidney removed. I now have stage 3 kidney disease in my left kidney. 6 months ago I went for a mammogram and biopsy and I was diagnosed with Ductal carcinoma in situ. Because I have limited function in my kidney it isn’t safe for me to take the traditional treatment approach. I’ve had a consultation with an Integrative Oncologist who can create a treatment plan that is safe for my body. Right after this diagnosis I found out that I also have Hypercalcemia which is an excess amount of calcium in my blood. This is an extremely dangerous condition caused by a nodule in my parathyroid. I need immediate surgical intervention, leaving this condition untreated can damage many organs as well as weaken my bones. I will have to travel to Tampa Florida where this surgery will take place. I am so overwhelmed and need help to take immediate action. I feel like I’m in a race against time to have this surgery so that I can also start treatment for my DCIS (Ductal carcinoma in situ) diagnosis. I have 2 daughters ages 21 & 26 that I want to be here for, I am scared for what the future holds if I cannot afford treatment. I know that my goal is a large amount, I have 2 very life threatening conditions happening all at once. The surgeon is requiring payment in full beforehand. The hospital is also requiring a large deposit. There will be many scans, lab work, prescriptions and traveling involved in my treatment. I would greatly appreciate any help at all, even if you can only share this.
