A Helping Hand for Jaiden’s Dental Journey:
Supporting Dental Care for a Level 3 Autistic Child
My name is J-Ann Armstrong, and I’m reaching out to you today with a heartfelt plea for support for my son Jaiden. Jaiden is a wonderful, loving and a level 3 autistic boy who brings joy to everyone he meets. He loves running and chasing others anything that has to do with running. We are asking for your help to cover a significant dental cost that has come up unexpectedly for him.
Jaiden has a hole in his lower first molar tooth for over a year and a half now, because it’s been so long it’s starting to decay and is leading to infections and constant pain with fever. He also has some cavities on some of his teeth. Because Jaiden is on the autism spectrum, the necessary dental work will need to be performed under sleep medicine to ensure his comfort and safety. We want him to have a healthy and confident smile.
Dental care is essential for everyone, but it can be particularly challenging for individuals with autism. The sensory sensitivities and communication differences associated with autism can make routine dental visits difficult. This is why the use of sleep medicine is necessary for Jaiden’s treatment, which adds to the overall cost.
we have explored all available options, which includes going to more than one dental facilities, going to the health care clinics and even the hospital which caters for children which we were told will be a two year waiting time. We are turning to the generosity of our community to help us provide Jaiden with the dental care he deserves.
Any and all contributions, no matter the size, will make a difference in helping Jaiden achieve a healthy and happy smile. Your support will help us cover the costs of the necessary procedures including the sleep medicine, fillings and any other related expenses.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for considering supporting Jaiden’s dental surgery journey. We are incredibly grateful for any help you can provide.
we understand that not everyone is in a position to donate, and that’s okay. However if you are able to contribute, please know that your generosity will be deeply appreciated. If you are unable to donate, we would be grateful if you could share this campaign with your friends and family. Spreading the word can make a big difference.
