Help Us Support Arielle and Baby Jedsen Through a Medical Crisis
Our family is living a nightmare we never imagined — and we’re asking for your help.
Arielle, a strong woman and a brand-new mom, has been fighting for her life for over 10 days in the hospital. What began as a routine gallbladder surgery quickly spiraled into a life-threatening medical
crisis. Not long after surgery, Arielle’s health took a dramatic turn. After being transferred to WesleyMedical Center in Wichita, Kansas, doctors discovered a severed bile duct leaking bile into her body, causing infection and severe internal complications. Since then, she’s endured multiple procedures — including fluid drainage, blood transfusions, and repeated imaging and tests to monitor multiple blood clots throughout her body as well as a surgery to repair the bile duct. She
remains on high-flow oxygen and continues to battle high fevers, an unstable heart rate, and intense pain.
This morning, Arielle was scheduled for another critical surgery to place drains in her abdomen and chest. But before the procedure could begin, she coded. Her heart stopped. Thanks to the incredible team at Wesley, she was revived and stabilized, but this terrifying event has now delayed the surgery she
desperately needs. Arielle is still in critical condition in the ICU, and her path to recovery remains uncertain.
Throughout all of this, her 5-week-old son, Jedsen, has been in Wichita with us. Our family has been taking turns caring for him and staying by Arielle’s side. We’ve made the decision that she will not be left
alone after everything she’s been through — and we’re doing our best to bring Jedsen to visit when she’s
awake, even if just for a few moments.
We’re asking for help to cover the growing expenses of:
- Medical bills and ongoing treatment costs
- Hotel stays and travel between Clay Center and Wichita
- Formula, diapers, and daily needs for baby Jedsen
- Meals and living costs for family staying near the hospital long-term
Arielle is a fighter. She’s holding on for her baby — and we are holding on to hope for her.
Please help us give her the support and stability she needs to recover, surrounded by her family and the people who love her most. Every donation, share, and prayer makes a difference.
With deep gratitude,
Arielle’s Family
