Hi everyone,
I’m putting this together for my incredible friend, Shelby.
Shelby is the kind of person who shows up — for people and for animals. She works second shift as a large animal veterinary technician at a university hospital, where she not only cares for patients but also supports new vet techs and students learning the ropes.
About five years ago, Shelby lost her heart horse — a devastating loss for anyone who’s formed that kind of bond. When Midas came into her life, it was a turning point — a new partner, a new beginning. He is the most perfect boy, a one of a kind in his own right. Always gentle, always kind.
Unfortunately, Midas was recently injured and has been in the vet hospital for the last few days. As you can imagine, treatment and care for horses can add up quickly. Shelby is doing everything she can to make sure he gets what he needs, but she could really use a little help right now.
If you’re able to donate, even a small amount, it would go a long way in helping Midas recover and easing some of the burden Shelby is carrying. And if you’re not in a place to give, sharing this with others would mean the world.
Thanks so much for reading and for supporting someone who gives so much of herself every day.
