I am reaching out to ask for your support for my beloved mom, Sarah, who is bravely battling serious complications from a debilitating neurological condition. About one month ago, she began experiencing severe swallowing difficulties, nausea and vomiting which led to extreme dehydration and weakness. She was rushed to hospital where she was placed on IV feeding. Further medical investigation revealed a more critical issue- a severe intestinal blockage requiring immediate abdominal bypass surgery.
Doctors have advised that she urgently needs this surgery to get around the blockage which will also allow her to continue receiving the nutrition she needs to stay alive.
This is a difficult time for our family both emotionally and financially. The costs for surgery, and specialized medical care are overwhelming. That’s why we’re asking for your help- any amount, no matter how small, will go directly toward her medical treatment.
