Hi, I’m Noelle — a 32-year-old former towboat cook, wife, and co-runner of a small construction business with my husband. In August 2024, I was officially diagnosed with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS). Based on years of unexplained symptoms, my neurologist at Mayo Clinic believes I’ve likely had MS since my teenage years.
On top of MS, I also live with POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), fibromyalgia, and endometriosis — a combination that makes everyday tasks physically and mentally draining. Some days, it’s difficult just to walk or focus. I’ve had to step away from work, social plans, and parts of my life I loved.
But I’m not giving up. And that’s why I’m reaching out today.
HSCT: A Real Chance at a Better Life
I’ve been accepted for HSCT (Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation) — a treatment that works by resetting the immune system, stopping it from attacking the body like it does in MS. For many people, HSCT has halted disease progression entirely and offered a chance at long-term stability and healing.
I’ll be receiving care at Clínica Ruiz in Mexico, one of the most experienced HSCT centers in the world. Their program is trusted, rigorous, and compassionate — and includes far more than just the treatment.
What the $57,500 Covers
The full cost of the treatment is $57,500, which includes:
The entire HSCT procedure
All transportation needs after landing
A fully furnished, secure apartment suite in a closed facility
Daily cleaning and support during my neutropenia phase (when my immune system is weakest)
An on-site translator
Full accommodation, transport, and support for my caregiver for the duration of treatment
This is a comprehensive, medically supervised program — but it is not covered by insurance, and every cost is out of pocket.
Why I Need Your Help
I’ve always worked hard — whether it was cooking for crews on the river or helping my husband with our brand new small business. But MS has taken a lot from me. It’s taken my energy, physical ability, and my ability to work and plan for the future.
Now I have the opportunity to stop the disease from getting worse — and maybe even regain some of what I’ve lost.
If you’re able to donate, thank you from the bottom of my heart. If you can’t, please consider sharing this campaign with your network — even a quick repost could help this reach someone who can.
With your help, I can give MS the boot — and start building a healthier future.
With love and gratitude,
Noelle
