I’m reaching out to ask for support for my incredible uncle, who is currently facing one of the most difficult battles of his life.
What began as a visit to the doctor for leg pain quickly turned into a devastating series of discoveries. A CT scan revealed numerous blood clots in his leg—serious enough that doctors had no choice but to amputate his foot. While running additional tests, they found more troubling news: a 7mm mass on one of his lungs, signs of a heart condition, and later, a mass on his brain. We are still waiting on the results of his biopsies, and the uncertainty has been overwhelming.
He’s been in the hospital for several weeks now, and the road ahead will be long and expensive. One of the biggest immediate needs is a prosthetic leg, which could cost up to $10,000—not including the intensive rehab and ongoing care he will need. Unfortunately, he and his family simply don’t have the resources to cover these costs on their own.
My uncle has already faced so much in his life with quiet strength and resilience. He’s not just an amazing uncle—he’s a loving father and grandfather who helps care for his daughter’s children and gives selflessly to those around him. Now, he needs our help.

The cost of a prosthetic leg
Extended hospital stays
Follow-up medical care and rehabilitation
Any additional treatment that may be needed depending on the biopsy results
