My sister and brother in law are going through some tough times and need your help. He had a severe stroke 6 months ago and has been on disability from work. They chose to terminate him while he was on disability from work. and they now have no insurance, and he has no income. He was no slacker at work. He worked 13 days straight with 1 day off. He did that for months.
The stroke left him with double vision , which requires eye surgery. Also, he has been getting physical therapy for his walking and balance being off due to the stroke.
He was also diagnosed with cancer, which very well could be attributed to his previous work environment.
All of the treatments have to be put on hold because of no insurance from his job and no money coming in. They are hoping to get medical assistance until his ss disability is approved. But they could use some help to get his medications. His cancer medication alone is $22,000 a month.
He is so stressed out, and that isn’t good for his blood pressure.
