Hi everyone,
My name is Brittany, and I’m reaching out with the heaviest heart I’ve ever had. My sister Brandi is in the fight of her life right now, and we are running out of time.
Brandi has been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, and every single day is getting harder for her. She’s constantly in pain — her bones ache, her energy is almost gone, and lately, she’s started having multiple seizures daily. She’s also dealing with dangerous blood clots, swelling in her legs and feet, severe headaches, nausea, nosebleeds, and more. She’s barely able to eat or function. Watching her go through this has been absolutely heartbreaking.
On top of all this, Brandi recently lost her health insurance and had to stop working — her body just couldn’t handle it anymore. Having seizures at work became too dangerous, and she was forced to leave her job. Now she can’t afford her life-saving treatments, her prescriptions, or even basic necessities and bills. She’s in constant pain, physically and emotionally, and the stress of not being able to provide for her kids is breaking her down even more.
She’s applied for assistance, but as many of you know, those programs can take months to come through — time that she just doesn’t have. Her doctors have made it clear: if she doesn’t get treatment soon, she might not live to see September. That’s a reality we are not willing to accept.
Brandi is a mother, a sister, and a fighter. She loves her kids more than anything in this world, and the hardest part for her has been watching the fear in their eyes as their mom slowly gets sicker. She can’t play with them like she used to. She can’t take them places or even do normal everyday things. They are watching their mom fade away, and it’s terrifying for all of us.
I’m asking, begging, for your help. Any donation — big or small — will go directly to Brandi’s treatment, medications, and basic living costs to keep her and her kids safe and housed while she fights to survive. If you can’t donate, please share this with as many people as you can. We just want to give her a real chance to survive this and keep being the amazing mom and woman she is.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts,
Brittany
