My name is Marian Voros and I am reaching out to ask for your help. My brother John Voros has been diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma brain cancer. He is receiving the very best care possible here in Boston, but treatment options for this type of cancer are extremely limited at this time.
I have found a promising treatment that is approved to treat another form of cancer but not yet approved for the treatment of glioblastoma. The treatment is currently in phase 3 clinical trials, which means it is heading towards a possible FDA approval sometime in the not too distant future. The problem is that John does not have time to wait for that day to arrive. He must act now and he must act fast in order to fight this fight. This treatment has the potential to extend John’s quality of life, giving him more time to do the things he enjoys with his family and dear friends. It even has the potential to significantly increase his lifetime and possibly destroy the deadly disease that he is fighting against.
John’s first line of treatment is radiation here in Boston. John has medical insurance that will cover that treatment, but once that treatment is over, he has no treatment options left here in the United States, and we must travel out of the country for treatment that must be paid out of pocket. I am asking for your support. Any bit of support you can give to help us with the expenses of this treatment would be sincerely appreciated. Both John and I will be out of work for a considerable amount of time in order to take on this endeavor, and our financial stability will be significantly impacted. Please consider helping us. Any contributions would mean so much! Thank you and God Bless.
Marian
