On June 7th, our beautiful Mai was abruptly diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), a rare and aggressive form of blood cancer. In just a few days, her world turned upside down. She is now preparing to begin intensive chemotherapy treatment at Stanford Hospital.
Mai is one of the most outgoing, positive people we know — always a ray of sunshine wherever she goes. She loves to travel, laugh, and connect with others. Her energy is contagious, and we have a feeling her travel bucket list is still not complete.
As she begins this unexpected and difficult journey, we’re reaching out for support. Mai will be unable to work during her treatment, and the medical costs, in addition to everyday expenses, are already piling up. Donations will help support her and her family members during this crucial time.
Any donation, no matter the amount, will help ease the financial burden so she can focus fully on healing. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing.
Please keep MaiMai in your thoughts and prayers.
We know she is a tough cookie and is currently in one of the best hospitals for blood cancers; so we are grateful and hopeful that she will make it through this.
From the bottom of our hearts — thank you. ❤️
