Hi friends, family, and kind strangers,
We’re reaching out on behalf of an incredibly strong and resilient woman—Kim Birchfield—who has been fighting the battle of her life.
In October of last year, Kim received the devastating news that she had stage 4 breast cancer. Since then, her journey has been nothing short of heartbreaking and courageous. The cancer spread to her spine, requiring life-altering surgeries—including a hysterectomy and the replacement of a bone in her spine with metal—just to manage pain and preserve mobility.
During this time, Kim lost more than her health. She had to leave her new home in Flagstaff (where she grew up and had just moved back in June 24’ to embrace the outdoor lifestyle she loves so much), move in with her parents for care over 200 miles away, and lost her job due to her inability to work. She has endured months of chemotherapy and radiation, doctor visits, and hospital stays—all while fighting to keep her spirit intact.
The good news:
Kim is finally nearing the end of her chemotherapy treatments. Although the battle is not over, she’s done the hard part—she survived. But now, she needs help taking the next step: rebuilding her life.
We’re asking for your support to help raise $50,000 to assist with:
• Remaining medical expenses and prescriptions
• Rent and housing to regain her independence
• Basic living costs as she works toward financial recovery
• Transportation to follow-up appointments and job interviews
• The essentials to rebuild a home life she lost while fighting cancer
Every donation—no matter the size—makes a tangible difference. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this campaign and sending a message of support means the world.
Kim has shown immense strength throughout her battle. Now, with your help, she can focus on healing, rebuilding, and moving forward.
Thank you for helping us give Kim the fresh start she truly deserves.
With gratitude,
Friends & Family of Kim Birchfield
