I am a DLI Curriculum Facilitator who works closely with Katherin to support students in our Spanish Dual Language program. Recently, a small mass was found in Katherin’s neck, near her carotid artery. She underwent surgery to remove the mass on June 12.
While the surgery was a success, the financial burden from hospital stays, diagnostics, post-operative care, medications, and ongoing follow-up appointments is overwhelming and has taken a physical, emotional, and financial toll. As an international exchange teacher, with no family in the US, we wish to support her with the financial burden accumulated.
Katherin has spent the last two years here in the United States teaching students, bridging cultures, and making the world a better place, inside and outside her classroom. Now, she needs our help.
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful impact. Let’s rally together to support Ms. Sanchez. Thank you so much for your kindness and support.
With gratitude,
Jessica Gutierrez
