Hello! My name is Timur, and I’m the father of an extraordinary little boy Egor Shikhakhmedov. Egor was born on August 13, 2018, with severe brain damage caused by birth asphyxia. He was later diagnosed with cerebral palsy (CP), which left him unable to walk due to severe spasticity. Despite his challenges, Egor is a bright, joyful, and loving child who enjoys swimming , toy cars, and playing with his younger brother.
What We’ve Already Tried
While the physical improvements were modest — better sleep, slightly reduced muscle tightness — the mental and cognitive changes were even more noticeable. Yegor became stronger mentally, more emotionally balanced, and more intellectually engaged. He started expressing himself more clearly, and we could feel that he was becoming more aware, responsive, and confident.
For us, these shifts were deeply meaningful. That’s why we believe that repeating the treatment could bring even greater progress.
What We’re Raising Money For
Now, we want to repeat the stem cell treatment, which costs $7,500. In addition, Egor needs a new R82 Chilla wheelchair, which costs around $6,000.
Our fundraising goal is $13,500.
Funds will go toward:
• $7,500 for repeat stem cell treatment at Innate Healthcare
• $6,000 for a new R82 Chilla adaptive wheelchair
Why We’re Asking for Your Help
We are a regular family who unfortunately don’t have the financial means to cover these critical expenses alone.
We’re reaching out to friends, kind strangers, and caring hearts. Every donation, every share, every kind word brings Egor closer to a better life — one with more comfort, mobility, and independence.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for supporting Egor.
With love,
Timur & the Shikhakhmedov Family
