On Father’s Day 2025, my husband took his first born son, our beloved Chalupa-Batman to the emergency vet.
Our original concern that Chalupa ate a foreign object led to an x-ray that revealed something far worse. The x-ray revealed that Chalupa has a large mass and thickening of soft tissue on his right lung— most likely cancerous.
Our next step is to visit a veterinarian specializing in oncology to determine how we can help Chalupa live a longer life— or at the very least, figure out how much time we have left with him.
Every dollar will go towards the current expenses we have already paid and future expenses that may help save our 5yr old son’s bedtime cuddle companion, my small and mighty protector, and my husband’s best friend of 12 years. Anyone who has met Chalupa has fallen in love with his sweet, calm, and loyal nature. Please consider helping us raise awareness and funds towards our effort to keep him going.
We appreciate your generosity and support during this difficult time.
