Meet Tim
My name is Abu Omar , and I am fundraising for my baby son, Tim Al-Daour, who was born in May 2023. At just four months old, we were devastated to learn that Tim had developed congenital cataracts in both of his eyes. He was completely unable to see.
The Struggle for Treatment
Doctors informed us that Tim urgently needed surgery to restore his vision. However, due to severe disruptions in local healthcare services, we were unable to access the necessary treatment on time. By the time we finally found a solution, it was months later—and although Tim received surgery, the delay led to limited recovery of his vision.
There is Still Hope
Tim is a brave and joyful child, but he still struggles to see clearly. His condition requires:
• Specialist follow-up care
• Ongoing visual therapy
• Possible additional procedures
• Travel expenses for accessing treatment
We are doing everything we can to support Tim, but the costs are beyond our family’s ability.
Proof of Medical Needs
We have attached photos from his surgery and medical reports to verify Tim’s condition and ongoing needs.
