My mother, Alejandrina Garcia, has always been a pillar of strength for our family. For the past ten years, she has battled congestive heart failure and kidney disease, facing each day with courage and determination. This year, her doctors told us that her kidneys would give out—and they did. Now, with her heart functioning at only 13%, we’ve been told she may not make it past this year without a transplant. It’s been incredibly hard to watch someone who was once so strong now struggle with daily activities and spend so much time in dialysis, three times a week. We just want our mother back, and we’re holding onto hope that a heart and kidney transplant will give her the chance to live a normal life again.
The funds raised will go directly toward Alejandrina’s medical bills, travel for treatment, living expenses, and the medical equipment she needs at home. Every contribution will help ease the financial burden on our family and bring us closer to the care she urgently needs. Time is critical—she must receive her transplant this year, or her heart may give out. We’re grateful for any support you can offer, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing her story. My mother hopes that God blesses anyone who helps her during this difficult time. Thank you for helping us fight for more time with our mother.
