Hello, my name is Ali. I’m raising funds for my fiancé, Chris. He’s 27. Just a couple of months ago, he was healthy and up doing the things he loves, like fishing, cooking, traveling together, and making plans for our future. He’s always been the one to take care of all those around him, including me. He does everything he can and puts whatever to the side for everyone. Recently, we have had a lot of changes, and our whole world has been flipped upside down. We have been in and out of the hospital for a couple of months now with tons of testing and much more to come. As of right now, we don’t have many answers as to what is going on. About three weeks ago, he was already struggling, but he could walk and manage his daily routine with some assistance. However, recently he had a nasty fall due to the leg weakness he was already experiencing, and now he can’t walk at all. So far, none of the tests show anything conclusive. Everyone is completely baffled, but he does have friends and family to support him. Unfortunately, financially we are really struggling, and he’s currently bedridden. He is the one that financially supports us, and I’m unable to work. He does so much for me and everyone around him; it hurts me to see him in the state he’s in. So I’m trying to raise funds to help get him medical supplies as well as other expenses. As of right now, he needs a wheelchair, we have to build a ramp on the outside to the porch, we are looking into a Hoyer lift since he can’t use his legs, as well as thousands of dollars in medical bills, and that’s just to name a few things. He’s not the type to ask for help, but I know he just wants to have some sort of normalcy to what life is now for him, and we want to do anything we can to help make his day-to-day easier and less painful.
Thank you for listening to our story, and if you’re willing or able to donate, every little bit helps.
