Help and Prayers for Abraham Cortez
Hello, my name is Josephina y Hilario Cortez, and we are Abraham Cortez’s parents. I’m reaching out today with a heavy heart to share the heartbreaking situation our family is going through.
Since Father’s Day, our son Abraham has been in critical condition. He is currently in a coma, fighting for his life. He suffered a cardiac arrest and had to be revived twice. During the second episode, his heart stopped for two full minutes. By God’s grace, the doctors were able to bring him back, but the lack of oxygen caused severe damage.
At this moment, Abraham remains in a very fragile state. One of his kidneys is not functioning properly, and his brain has been severely affected due to being without oxygen for nearly 20 minutes. His organs are slowly deteriorating, and the medical team has told us there is little more they can do—now, we are holding on to faith and praying for a miracle.
I humbly ask for your prayers. Please keep Abraham in your hearts and include him in your prayer circles. We believe in the power of collective prayer and in God’s ability to work miracles.

Hola, mi nombre es Josephina y Hilario Cortez y somos los padres de Abraham Cortez. Hoy me dirijo a ustedes con el corazón en la mano para compartir la dolorosa situación que está atravesando nuestra familia.
Desde el Día del Padre, nuestro hijo Abraham se encuentra en estado crítico. Actualmente está en coma, luchando por su vida. Sufrió un paro cardíaco y tuvo que ser reanimado dos veces. Durante el segundo episodio, su corazón estuvo detenido durante dos minutos. Gracias a Dios, los doctores lograron revivirlo, pero la falta de oxígeno causó daños severos.
En este momento, Abraham sigue en una condición muy delicada. Uno de sus riñones no está funcionando correctamente y su cerebro ha sido gravemente afectado por haber estado casi 20 minutos sin oxígeno. Sus órganos están comenzando a deteriorarse poco a poco, y el equipo médico nos ha dicho que ya no hay mucho más que se pueda hacer—ahora solo nos queda tener fe y orar por un milagro.
Con humildad, les pido que lo incluyan en sus oraciones. Por favor, mantengan a Abraham en sus pensamientos y únanse en cadenas de oración. Creemos firmemente en el poder de la oración colectiva y en que Dios puede obrar milagros.
