I am a father of 2 and a disabled veteran after 9 years of being 37F (psyop specialist) in the Army, now, a musician/artist/entertainer full time thanks to my medical preventing me from working a normal 9 to 5; however I can’t book paying gigs even due to my medical situation and not being able to guarantee making half of the shows I book between my ptsd, diabetes, insomnia as the big 3 of a page and a half of medical conditions. I love people (making them smile and seeing them have fun) but I can’t even leave my house more than an hour most days. So, I write, produce, and pop out to open mics/karaoke nights to manage. I’ve filed for unemployable with 2 Psych recommendations (off a 70% noncombat rating), I can’t get my diabetes connected from getting it from the Anthrax Vaccine at a 1/1000 odd on a congressional report (even)x and stuck. I have a hard time asking for help, especially money, but we’re facing eviction, food pantries, 2+ behind on bills and collections, and some. We really need a blessing right now while waiting for the filing process to produce a decision letter and updated rating. Thank you so much for anyone who helps.
