At 49, I am finding myself in need of a mitral valve repair or replacement, and I’ve not had insurance for a couple of years while operating in the Fox Valley area as an Uber driver. I’ve been driving rideshare as a way of dealing with my reduced capacity to maintain a full-time schedule, and I’ve recently received bad news. I’ve got 30% EF from my left ventricle and moderate regurgitation at my mitral heart valve. This interferes with my daily activities and makes working even more difficult and stressful for me. While I’m not expecting to solve all of my problems in this life with a valve repair, it would certainly improve my quality of life and possibly increase my longevity for years to come. Any and all help is welcome. Thank you.
